Ashley Boynes-Shuck brings a unique blend of creativity, strategy, technology, and storytelling to her role at Attack Theatre. She holds a Bachelor’s in Humanities from the University of Pittsburgh (with concentrations in English Writing & Literature, Communications, and Psychology) and a Master’s in Professional Studies from Point Park University (focusing on Sports, Arts & Entertainment Management, Education, and Public Relations). She also pursued postgraduate studies at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and holds certifications in Music Business, Positive Psychology, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and more.
A passionate advocate for media literacy, health & wellness, women’s issues, and animal welfare, Ashley is a member of Mensa and American Songwriter. Her accolades include Pittsburgh’s 40 Under 40, the Pittsburgh Fashion Hall of Fame, the Empowering Woman in Business Award, and an ATHENA Young Professionals nomination, among other honors.
Ashley splits her time as Data & Enterprise Manager between Attack Theatre and MCG Jazz while freelancing as a writer, PR consultant, and brand ambassador for Sea of Sound Design. Her work has appeared in Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, and Maniac Magazine, and she has held roles at Noom, Inc., GiftCards.com, and the Arthritis Foundation, as well as an early stint as an on-air intern at 96.1 KISS FM.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys birdwatching, playing guitar, caring for houseplants, traveling, true crime, going to concerts, and all things Snoopy. She lives with her husband—an Ironman triathlete, American Ninja Warrior, and fifth-grade teacher—and their beloved rescue dogs, Pacific parrotlet, and betta fish.
