Anya Epstein

Anya Epstein is a Pittsburgh based artist, performer, and educator. She trained at the CLO Academy and Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts High School. Anya graduated from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Theatre and Dance, concentrating on acting, choreography and dance science. Throughout her dance career she has danced with and for Monica Bill Barnes & Company, Earl Mosley, Megan Flynn, and Shana Simmons. She has worked and performed with multiple Pittsburgh theater companies, including Pittsburgh Musical Theater, Stage 62, Heritage Players, and the New Hazlett Theater. Anya has taught for Carnegie Mellon’s Pre-College Program. She is on the faculty at Pittsburgh CLO, a resident artist at PMT Conservatory and teaches at the JCC School of Dance in Squirrel hill. She strives to integrate safe movement practices for individual bodies through discussion of anatomy and how the body works while moving.
